剧情简介:
A woman wakes up in a dimly lit basement, her body aching with fresh injuries that make her vision blur. Around her, the cold concrete is stained with dark, viscous fluids, and cadavers—some missing limbs, others with their faces drained of color—lie in mangled heaps, half-buried under debris. Panic claws at her throat, but she recognizes the danger: if she moves, if she makes a sound, she will be the next victim. With a trembling breath, she collapses onto the cold ground, forcing her eyes shut and stilling her body as if she were one of the corpses. Above her, the house is alive with a nightmarish sort of activity. A guttural chant seeps through the floorboards, interspersed with the creak of floorboards and the clatter of metal tools. Through a crack in the basement stairs, she sees shadows dancing: figures in tattered robes, their faces hidden by hoods, huddled over a table piled with ritualistic objects—bones, smoldering candles, yellowed scrolls. A grotesque, bloodied altar stands at the center, and something wet drips into a basin with every passing minute. As the ritual unfolds, the woman’s mind races, weighing every breath she takes. She remembers the last thing she saw: a masked man with glowing eyes, a knife in his hand, and the screams of her friends echoing down the stairs before everything went black. Now, she’s trapped, her only hope to play dead and pray the ceremony ends before they come for her. The air grows colder, the stench of rot mixing with the acrid smell of burning incense. She closes her eyes tighter, pretending to be a corpse, while above, the ritualists’ voices rise in a crescendo, their movements growing more frantic. Outside, the moon hides behind storm clouds, and the world outside the house seems to hold its breath.
